photos by Itaysha Jordan Born and raised in Queens, New York, Danielle seems to have been born with an eye for what looks good. Having worn a uniform in Catholic school from kindergarten through 12th grade, she developed a love and appreciation for having a personalized wardrobe. During high school, she subscribed to nearly every fashion and beauty magazine known to fashionistas everywhere and was frequently asked for image advice from friends and family. It was no surprise that by the time Danielle attended college she developed quite an extensive and stylish wardrobe and could easily tell anyone of any size, color, or age what would look good on them without blinking an eye. Danielle received a BBA in Marketing from Hofstra University. After college, Danielle attended New York City's Fashion Institute of Technology where she studied Image Consulting, Color Harmony, Wardrobe Analysis, and Fashion Styling. During her time at the Fashion Institute, Danielle learned and worked with the fashion industry's best and even worked backstage as a dresser during Fashion Week S/S ‘07 for designer Karen Walker and during Bridal Market Week 2006 for Vera Wang. Makeup application became an extension of knowledge learned from color theory and facial analysis. Danielle became fascinated with mixing foundation to get the perfect match which is her signature in her flawless makeup looks. She believes in makeup looking seamless and “like skin” even when doing more dramatic looks on her clients. Danielle is known for telling her clients of various racial and ethnic backgrounds, “I'm gonna make you look like YOU, but better!”.
